NAHA awarded 12th 4-star rating

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded our 12th 4-star rating from America’s largest independent charity evaluator, Charity Navigator. Also, 95.5% of our total expenses go towards our program services.  Donor’s want to make sure that their hard-earned dollars that they contribute to charities go towards helping those in need.  Below are just a few excerpts from the letter that Charity Navigator sent to us congratulating NAHA on its 4-star achievement:

“Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Native American Heritage Association exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work”

“This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets NAHA apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness”

Michael Thatcher, President and CEO

For more information on our 4-star rating please visit www.charitynavigator.org. We have been steadily delivering products and food to the Reservations. In the last few weeks, we have taken truckloads of new mattresses to the communities. We have distributed new clothing and shoes for the children to start school, winter clothing, flooring for the homes or buildings that need to be updated and other much-needed necessities. None of this would be possible without our generous donors and their support!
