We are thrilled to announce that NAHA has been awarded its 13th 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator is an American, independent charity watchdog organization that evaluates charitable organizations in the United States. Below are just a few excerpts from the letter that Charity Navigator sent to us congratulating NAHA on its 4-star achievement:
“Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Native American Heritage Association exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work.”
“This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets NAHA apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”

It is very important to know where your hard earned dollars are going when donating to a worthy cause. We are proud to say that 96.4% of our total budget goes toward our programs to help the Native Americans in need. For more information on NAHA’s rating, please visit www.charitynavigator.org.
The calls have already started coming in asking for Emergency Vouchers. The vouchers help with food and heating fuel. Even though it’s May, the Reservations just got several inches of snow, which means the temperatures are still cold enough that their homes still need to be heated. Native Americans don’t want to have to rely on others for food, clothes for their children or heat for their homes. Some will go days before realizing they have nowhere else to turn.
Won’t you donate today so we can make sure the families that are in the greatest need, get food and help to heat their homes? We desperately need your help and support. Please think about becoming a monthly donor. Even just a modest amount each month can make a big difference in the lives of Native American families when it is combined with other monthly contributors.
Thank you in advance for your support, we greatly appreciate it!!!
