Recently NAHA was awarded its 12th 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator is an American, independent charity watchdog organization that evaluates charitable organizations in the United States.  Below are just a few excerpts from the letter that Charity Navigator sent to us congratulating NAHA on its 4-star achievement:

“Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Native American Heritage Association exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work.”

“This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets NAHA apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”

Michael Thatcher, President and CEO, Charity Navigator

It is very important to know where your hard earned dollars are going when donating to a worthy cause.  You need and want to know that a very large portion of your donation is going towards the programs to help the cause. We are proud to say that 95.5% of our total expenses go towards our program services. Won’t you donate today to help NAHA fund the programs that support the Native Americans living on the Reservations in South Dakota?  You can also sign up for a monthly donation to help with our general funds. Sometimes the communities call with an emergency and we want to make sure we can help them when an event like that occurs.

For more information on our 4-star rating please visit www.charitynavigator.org . If you have any gently-used clothing, toys, personal care items, etc. you may ship them to our warehouse at this address:
