I don’t know about you, but this year has flown by for NAHA. We have had a successful year in acquiring Tempur-Pedic loads, Wal-Mart loads, food, clothing, etc. We have gotten in several truckloads of toys that will be distributed to the children for Christmas. Thank you to everyone who has sent in toys, clothing, etc. We also bought two new trailers for our trucks a couple of weeks ago as our old trailers had over a million miles on each of them. A couple months ago we were contacted by a production and filming company called Two Parrot offering a grant to make a video for our organization. They came out to the Reservations and put together an extraordinary video. We were hoping the final phase of editing would be done by now so we could put it with this newsletter and on our website but unfortunately it takes time to do this so just be patient with us for a little bit longer.
There are only 12 more days left until 2014 which means you don’t have much longer to get your year-end tax-deductible donation in. Your donation will go towards helping Native Americans in need on the Reservations in South Dakota with food, clothing, heating assistance and basic life necessities.
