NAHA Toy Program

For over a decade, Native American Heritage Association has been providing toys to help brighten Native American children’s Christmas holiday. While we know this isn’t a basic life necessity, “Santa Claus” is an important part of every child’s life.

Thankfully our program has grown significantly and we delivered almost two tractor-trailers full of toys last year alone. This really says something about the kindness and selflessness of our donors. We have had people contact us right after Christmas to let us know that they have already started to collect toys for the following year.  If you have gently used toys that your children or grandchildren have outgrown, regardless of the time of year, please go ahead and ship them to us. We have a section of our warehouse where we collect toys throughout the year to be prepared for the last minute request from a community. And please, don’t forget the teens and elders of the tribes, everyone likes a visit from “Santa”.

If you would like to donate toys to this program, please package securely and include your name on the inside and outside of the box(es) to insure that you receive a “thank you” letter for your donation. Please ship them to:

Please read the following letter and testimonial and you will see how much joy this program provides for so many families:

The following was sent to us in a letter from Toni Wells, Tribal Planning Director of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe:

“. . . We would like to recognize the fact that your organization was the only one to help bring Christmas gifts to some of our needy families.  Without your help, their children would not have gotten anything to help celebrate the holiday.”
