In the winter months, the icy cold can literally take your breath away.  Unfortunately, we’ve seen winters where our loved ones froze to death like Sarah Swift Hawk in 1999.  

Although this is not a regular occurrence, any such death is a tragedy when it could easily have been avoided with wood or a propane stove supplied through the NAHA Fuel Program.
