NAHA
Emergency Voucher Program
![]()
Emergency FoodHunger is the fate of hundreds of Indians every month. With reservation unemployment at 70%, 80% or even higher, many Indian families face hunger when their relief checks or food stamps run out before the end of the month. NAHA has arranged with merchants in Rapid City and on the reservations to honor Emergency Vouchers---typically for about $25 worth of grocery staples---paid for by NAHA. These families are often provided with clean, warm clothing sent to NAHA by generous donors all over the country. Who benefits from NAHA Emergency Vouchers? * Homeless Families If you’d like to join in this program and other projects of the Native American Heritage Association, please go to our Personal & Secure Donation Page.
